ADB Delegation Visits BISP One Window Center: Key Highlights and Discussions
A delegation from the Asian Development Bank visited the BISP One Window Center for a survey as part of the latest update on the Benazir Income Support Program.

Senior representatives and official directors from the organization are part of the team, giving a briefing on BISP and its initiative’s main perspectives. To provide them with a clear understanding of new payment methods for beneficiaries and how BISP owns the strategy to increase transparency in BISP registration and cash transfer, Director General Naveed Akbar joined them.

Asian Development Bank (ADB) Executive and Alternate Executive Directors visited the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) One Window Center in G-7, Islamabad.
The delegation led by Donald Bobiash included Shigeo Shimizu, Supak Chaiyawan, Noor Ahmed, Shantanu Mitra, and Llewellyn Roberts.

A detailed briefing of the BISP Program’s main perspective and how its multiple Schemes are working to regulate and enhance the financial status of lower class families was provided by Director General Naveed Akbar when the Asian Development Team arrived at the BISP One Window Center in Islamabad.
Aside from Benazir Kafalat, Taleemi Wazaif, Benazir Nashonuma, and now the BISP Skill Training program, he mentioned all the core programs of BISP.
NSER DataBase and New Payment Module for BISP
At the Benazir One Window Center, the delegation observed that the services provided by the BISP Program had been modified and improved, as well as Benazir’s new payment structure, its NSER Database, which holds the data of millions of households and continuously updates it in response to their changing circumstances.
Naveed Akbar also discussed BISP Mobile Van Registration, which allows people living in rural areas to join the Benazir Income Support Program and complete surveys directly from their homes.
ADB Delegation Appreciated BISP For Empowering Poor People
The ADB delegation highlighted the range of services designed specifically to satisfy the needs of women beneficiaries and commended the BISP One Window Center for its efficient and streamlined operations. A comprehensive support system is available at the center in one location, which makes it easier for women to receive financial aid, healthcare, and other essential services.
