Besides arranging a trip to the local offices of BISP, where they will have the opportunity to connect with deserving female beneficiaries, she mentioned that these delegates will also be given a comprehensive overview of Pakistan’s social security initiatives, primarily focusing on BISP. They will have a chance to tour the BISP One Window Center, familiarize themselves with the payment system, and receive guidance on how to register qualified families. On November 14, authorities and stakeholders will gather for a roundtable meeting to develop a collaborative strategy, she added.
Update on the Benazir Taleemi and Nashonuma programs
Benazir Education Stipends give children from qualifying families stipends based on 70 percent attendance, the chairwoman explained during a briefing on other BISP projects. Currently, 9.7 million students attend school.
Almost two million mothers and children benefit from the Benazir Nashonuma program, which provides nourishing food and cash assistance to pregnant and lactating women and their infants.
