In Islamabad, 80% of the beneficiaries of the PM’s Free Atta Scheme are registered with BISP

In a session of the National Assembly, the Ministry of Industry provided figures on free flour distribution, which show that 80% of Islamabad’s households are BISP-registered. According to the figures, 20 percent of Islamabad’s households are listed as needy families in the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).

Among the 411,000 families registered as current residents of Islamabad, 588,000 families received free flour, according to the Ministry of Industry.
According to the Ministry of Industries, 330,000 families are registered in Islamabad’s BISP, and 258,000 more qualified families will receive free flour after NADRA approval.
