Today, on 12 July 2025, Uzma Bukhari has confirmed and eliminated the doubts and rumors regarding the health services given in Punjab in her press conference to the media. 

According to Punjab government spokesperson Uzma Bukhari, the Health Card program is still operational throughout the state. She also declared that the government would henceforth provide patients with free medication deliveries straight to their homes, improving Punjabi citizens’ access to healthcare.

  • Pakistani permanent resident: You must live in Punjab (or other participating provinces) and possess a valid CNIC.
  • Families living below or close to the poverty line: Generally, people who make less than USD 60 per month (or ~PKR 9,000 per month) are eligible.
  • Particularly at-risk groups: People with impairments, transgender people, and those living below the poverty line were first given priority.
