Ramzan 2025 Update

Ramzan is starting from the first of March and many updates can be seen related to the prices of essentials in Ramzan. Importers are being compelled to pay millions of dollars in demurrage charges as a result of the delayed approval of edible oil imports, according to Atif Ikram. Ghee and cooking oil prices are rising significantly as a result of this delay, and customers will eventually pay the higher prices.

Reason For The Prices To Increase In 10 Days

According to the president of the FPCCI, the edible oil clearance process is incredibly slow, resulting in delays of up to 10 days due to customs and other problems. He pointed out that if the situation does not improve before Ramadan, edible oil prices will increase drastically.
