The province’s residents have been inconvenienced by the two-day outage of Punjab’s Motor Vehicle Registration System. People are unhappy because the Punjab Excise and Taxation Department’s Motor Vehicle Registration System hasn’t worked for the last two days.

Excise officials claim that because the system is presently being revamped, services have been suspended.

No Option But Citizens Have To Wait

According to officials, several tax rates have recently changed, and the system is being updated to reflect these modifications. Because of this, Punjab’s excise offices are still closed today, leaving residents with little choice but to wait.

It’s very hard to go to the excise office again in this heat,” a local resident stated.

Public Frustration Grows Over Excise System Downtime

When excise employees were observed having informal chats rather than addressing public problems, citizens became irate.
