Benazir Kafalat Program is Pakistan’s biggest cash transfer initiative that is supporting the millions of the country’s population and this support is only extended to eligible households who have registered in it via the NSER Dynamic Survey.

BISP New Kafalat Payment 13500 Starting From Jan

The 8171 has decided to increase its monthly stipend by 3000 Rupees for all 9.3 million beneficiaries in light of the Government of Pakistan’s announcement of the new Budget Package for the BISP Program. This increase is not one-time; starting in January 2025, all eligible and registered households will receive a new installment of Rs 13,500 after two months.

BISP Aims To Uplift Poor People Across Pakistan

The program’s long-term objectives of lowering extreme poverty and empowering women in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN are to shield underprivileged households from the effects of inflation and growing food prices.

Over 9.3 million people are currently receiving assistance under the BISP Kafaalat program, and by the following year, 10 million families are expected to receive aid. The higher payment amount will be distributed to all registered households beginning in January 2025.

Government To Improve Accessibility For Beneficiaries

The government has also increased the number of banks from which recipients can withdraw their aid to increase accessibility. All recipients will be able to receive their monthly installments without any delays or deductions because they will be entering into contracts with six banks this time around rather than just one.

According to Rubina Khalid, the BISP has implemented a new financial structure that enables funds to be distributed to worthy women while leveraging the assets of up to six different institutions.

List Of New Eligible Banks For Kafalat Payment

The list of banks that have been contracted to handle payment distributions includes:

  • Bank Al Falah,
  • Bank of Punjab,
  • Mobilink Microfinance,
  • Telenor Microfinance Bank,

By partnering with multiple banks and implementing a streamlined payment system, the government aims to ensure ease and accessibility for all recipients.
