Punjab Government Launches 25 Billion Scholarship Program – August Update

It has been announced that the Punjab Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz, will offer a new scholarship program for free lifetime education to students who are successful in Punjab. The Punjab government has established this Scholarship Scheme with a budget of 25 billion rupees. It is open to students who have achieved top positions from all 9 boards as rewarded by the Punjab government.

CM announces a scholarship program worth Rs.25 billion for students
At a prize-distribution ceremony in Lahore on August 20, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced the opening of a student scholarship scheme worth 25 billion rupees.
Punjab’s Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif praised the best students, parents, and instructors for their achievements despite the province’s inadequate infrastructure, resources, and atmosphere.
Position holders across Punjab’s 9 boards are eligible to apply for the CM Scholarship
The CM Office reported that Maryam Nawaz attended the “Leaders for Tomorrow Awards 2024 Ceremony” on Tuesday. A contingent of Punjab Police officers also presented the students with a guard of honor, honoring and recognizing the event. She also praised and honored the hardworking children of the position holders.
Under the CM Scholarship Scheme, 139 of Punjab’s most deserving children will receive free education. The Punjab government will cover all of their further education costs, no matter where they choose to study.

A Rs25 billion scholarship program was also introduced by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to allow gifted kids to attend elite universities such as LUMS, Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute, IBA, COMSATS, FAST, and others. According to her, the Punjab government will cover tuition fees.
Over the next five years, Punjab’s education system will undergo a transformation
According to her, the educational system of the province will undergo a transformation over the next five years. She stressed that the government is committed to enhancing instruction in public schools. “To address nutritional deficiencies, we are launching a meal program in schools beginning on September 5, where students will receive milk packs from nursery to fifth grade.” The pilot program will take place in South Punjab,” the speaker said.
