Minimum Wage in Sindh Set to Rise by Rs3,000
The Sindh Minimum Wages Board has suggested raising the minimum salary for a number of worker categories in the state by Rs 3,000. The board recommended to the province government that the minimum monthly pay be raised by 8.1%, from Rs37,000 to Rs40,000.

Objection To Be Submitted Within 40 Days
The board’s secretary, Muhammad Naeem Mangi, published the board’s recommendations in the Sindh Government Gazette.
According to the notice, there is a 14-day window in which to file objections to the proposal. The plan states that the minimum wage for semi-skilled workers should be Rs 41,280, for skilled workers it should be Rs 48,910, and for highly skilled workers it should be Rs 50,868.
